Is This the Right Programme for You?
Have you spent years believing you cannot float?
Maybe you avoid the deep end, panic when your feet leave the pool floor, feel uncomfortable putting your face in the water, or tense up whenever you are asked to lie back.
Perhaps you have even tried swimming lessons before but felt rushed, embarrassed or misunderstood.
Fear of water can come from many different triggers, including past experiences, difficulty breathing, discomfort with water on your face or a fear of losing control. It does not mean you are incapable of learning to swim. You may simply need a different way of being taught.
Learn to Float in 2 Hours
specifically designed for
- Adults with water phobia or no swimming experience
- Teenagers who may feel uncomfortable joining children's beginner classes
- Beginners who become anxious around deep water
- People who need to hold the pool edge or keep their feet on the floor to feel safe
- People who have tried swimming lessons before but struggled with fear
- Anyone who wants to begin with one manageable swimming skill
You are not expected to arrive feeling confident. That is what we are here to help you build.
How the 2-Hour Programme Works
The programme consists of two one-hour sessions conducted over one weekend with a structured learning process, water-confidence exercises, assessment and a clear graduation milestone.

Understand your fear. Begin trusting the water.
Trust
Your coach will guide you through:
- Gentle water acclimation
- Breath awareness and control
- Identifying your personal fear trigger
- Relaxation techniques
- Supported back-floating exercises
- Understanding how your body responds in the water
The focus is on helping you feel safer in the water and begin building trust in your coach, your body and the water around you.
Gradually let go. Experience the float.
Proof
Once you have built greater trust, your coach will guide you through:
- Confidence reinforcement
- Gradually reducing physical support
- Independent back-floating practice
- Survival breathing
- A 10-second independent back-float assessment
Your graduation target is an independent back float for 10 seconds.
Everyone responds to water differently, so progress is never forced. Your coach will work towards the target while keeping your safety and comfort in mind.
"I think I will sink." → "I floated."
